Patriot's Day Parade, Arlington April 2016

The parade is the Arlington’s longest-standing celebration. Patriots’ Day is a special Massachusetts State holiday commemorating the opening battle of the American Revolutionary War, April 19, 1775. There is some dispute to whether the first day of the American Revolution started in Menotomy (Arlington) and not in Lexington and Concord, but regardless the men of Arlington played a key role in the war.
